Annual Lobbyists Registrars and Commissioners Network Conference

The Commissioner of Lobbying of Québec participates in the Annual Lobbyists Registrars and Commissioners Network Conference. This pan-Canadian network is made up of representatives responsible for the enforcement of municipal, provincial and federal lobbying legislation. It is composed of the following members:

Federal Government:

  • Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada (Ottawa)


  • Alberta – Registrar of Lobbyists
  • British Columbia – Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner/Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists
  • Manitoba – Office of the Lobbyist Registrar
  • New Brunswick – Office of the Integrity Commissioner
  • Nova Scotia - Registry of Lobbyists
  • Ontario - Office of the Integrity Commissioner
  • Québec – Commissioner of Lobbying
  • Saskatchewan – Commissioner and Registrar of Lobbyists
  • Newfoundland and Labrador – Commissioner of Lobbyists

Municipal :

  • City of Toronto – Lobbyists Registrar
  • City of Ottawa – Integrity Commissioner
  • City of Hamilton

The Lobbyists Registrars and Commissioners Network also holds an annual meeting in Ottawa. At these meetings, members share information on their respective legislation and best practices regarding the regulations that govern lobbying.


The Annual Council on Governmental Ethics Laws (COGEL) Conference is a professional organization with a particular interest in government ethics, elections, election campaign financing, oversight of lobbying as well as access to information and the protection of personal information.
